I do not come from a typical tech background — and I do not think that is a weakness.

I come from real life.

Over the years, I have seen businesses from different sides: as someone serving clients, supporting customers, working inside a team, managing details, running my own projects, and trying to keep things moving when there is always more to do than time to do it.

That perspective matters. Because good automation is not just about connecting tools. It is about understanding people, pressure points, and the real daily work behind a business.

I look at the owner who needs things to run more smoothly, the person doing the repeated tasks, and the client who simply wants clear answers and good service. That is where my work starts.

Our Story

How NLS came to be

When AI started becoming part of everyday conversation in 2022, I began exploring it properly. I learned how to work with it, where it needed guidance, how to write clearer prompts, and how to shape the result until it matched what I actually needed.

I learned that AI is not a magic button. It works best when there is clear thinking behind it.

Eventually, that learning turned into building. It started small.

My husband and I kept forgetting to buy raisins. Not because raisins were dramatic — although, during breakfast, it sometimes felt that way — but because they were not something we bought every week.

Our shopping list used to live on the fridge. Which worked beautifully, right up until the moment we were standing in the shop and realised we had forgotten to take a photo of it.

So I built a shared shopping list app we could both use from our phones. Now, when something runs out at home, I add it immediately. And when one of us is shopping, the list is already there.

No more raisin incidents.

From there, I built more practical systems: a budget app, a recipe app, a system for a client who runs a B&B, and a different system for my own rental property.

Different situations. Different systems. The same approach: understand the real-life problem first, then build something practical around it.
