NLS Business Automation ("we", "us", "our") designs and builds digital assistants and automation systems for businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

Information we collect

When you use the enquiry form on this website, we collect:

• Your email address
• Your phone number (if provided)
• Your company website (if provided)
• Your company name (if provided)
• Any message or details you choose to share with us

We only collect this information when you actively submit the form and tick the consent box.

Comments

If you leave a comment on our blog, we collect the data shown in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser user agent string, to help us detect spam.

An anonymised string created from your email address (called a hash) may be shared with the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. The Gravatar service's privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images to this website, please avoid uploading images that include embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and extract location data from any images published on it.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your enquiry and arrange a discovery call
• Understand your business so we can recommend a relevant solution
• Keep a record of our conversation for our own reference

• Make.com — processes the form submission and routes it to our records
• Airtable — stores enquiry details securely so our team can follow up

If comments are submitted on our blog, they may be checked automatically by a spam-detection service.

These providers act as data processors on our behalf and are contractually required to keep your information secure.

Embedded content from other websites

Blog posts on this site may include embedded content (for example, videos, images or articles). Embedded content from another website behaves in exactly the same way as if you had visited that website directly.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content — including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Cookies and analytics

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies, for your convenience so you don't have to fill them in again for a follow-up comment. These cookies last for one year.

When our team logs in to manage the site, cookies are used to remember login details and screen display choices; these last for two days (or two weeks, if "remember me" is selected), and are removed on logout.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely, so that we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically, rather than holding them in a moderation queue.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Ask what information we hold about you, and request an export of it
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information (except where we're required to keep it for legal, administrative or security reasons)
• Withdraw your consent at any time
• Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been mishandled

Where your data is sent

Comment submissions may be checked through an automated spam-detection service. Enquiry form submissions are sent to Make.com and stored in Airtable, as described above.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
